
The people behind the Stone Mill: How a personal mission changed our bread
Who are we? Nice to meet you – Miroslav and Stefan!
It all started back in 2014 when finding healthier food for our children turned out to be an impossible mission. Instead of settling for mass production, we decided to take matters into our own hands.
From hobby to life's path The next step was natural – to grow spelt ourselves and mill it on a stone mill for home use. This traditional milling method preserves the core of the grain and its natural vitamins and minerals. What started as a small production for family and friends gradually turned into a business with a cause.
Our values As we shared with "Capital" magazine, for us, quality is non-negotiable. Every packet of flour from Ecosem carries the spirit of tradition. We believe that bread should be as it was centuries ago – pure, real, and satisfying.
